*bulk it up with spring flowering perennials like rhododendron, hellebores or forsythia for enduring colour. They can be repurposed in your garden later too!

It’s amazing how long some flowers `keep on keeping on`—especially the wilder spring ones, like this flowering onion (pictured here). Even tulips have stayed with me for over a week, which still surprises me. And these ranunculus? They’ve dried into something quite lovely.
